Nominate a Child
Awards are made to youth in the Madison area throughout the year based on a nomination process administered through two primary programs.
YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
Youth showing improvement at school, at home, or in the community may be nominated for a Youth Achievement Award. These awards grant achievement-based reward incentives based on individual student needs and interests. Past awards have included monetary support for the purchase of clothing, musical instruments, karate lessons, summer camp, drivers education, fees for Advanced Placement exams, and school supplies.

Scholarships
Approximately 75 area students with unmet financial need are awarded $2,000 scholarships each year to support post-secondary education and training to attend Madison Area Technical College. Each scholarship recipient is paired with an adult mentor who meets with the student to offer one-on-one support. Scholars who continue their educational program for a second year are eligible for an additional $2,000 to continue their studies. Many students receiving college scholarships are first in their families to pursue post-secondary education.
